The DG8, DGV and CL10 range of products are designed for bikes with electronic speedometers but purchasing this Speedo Cable Upgrade Kit will provide the output you need if your bike is fitted with a cable-driven (mechanical)  speedometer. Simple to fit - only 3 wires, comes with instructions and fittings.

This unit is supplied with 7 magnets (They usually fit in the Bolt heads that hold the disc to the wheel - some bikes have 4 bolts, some, 5, some 6 and some 7) but the more you use on the wheel, the faster the DG8/DGV will respond. They must be equally spaced. In reality, 6 is the minimum for a reasonable response from the DG8/DGV. If you can fit more, we recommend you do.
