Acumen Electronics Portable Asset Protection System

Many items - such as motorcycles, jet ski's and classic cars - are kept in various garages/sheds/lock-ups which have no real security in their own right, except a padlock. Often these buildings are away from the main residence; such as in a block of garages some distance away from the house so any conventional alarm would be superfluous - even if the property had mains power to it; which most do not. Buildings such as these are often remote so any conventional alrm would be a waste of time, there wouldn't be anyone to hear it anyway!

Acumen's new portable alarm system is the alarm that doesn't make any noise - it sends a text message to up to 3 mobile phones (1 master and two additions) and will alert you for the following reasons;

• PIR - (Passive Infra-Red). This will sense movement, such as a person, within a 10 Metre range. Three adjustable sensitivity levels.
• Tilt - Ideal to sense if a caravan is being hitched onto a tow bar, or a closed bike trailer. A race transporter perhaps. 3 sensitivity levels.
• Temperature - a low and/or high temperature alert - 3 low and 3 high levels.
• Low internal Battery
• Mains power supply off/on

All sensitivities can be adjusted by a simple text message from the master mobile phone.

You can also, from the master phone

• Arm and disarm the PAPS remotely
• Change the access code
• See how the unit is configured
• Place the PAPS in battery saving mode
• Ask for a battery status check

Supplied complete with fittings and a mains power supply. (UK version standard - EU power supply available as an option)

NOTE! You will need to insert a SIM card to make the PAPS work. Any Active SIM will work. Acumen can supply you a SIM (see related products) or you can buy a SIM at most retail stores today, such as Tesco or telehone shops.
