How do you know if you're bike alarm sounds? Say you're at work and the bike is in the bike-park? On holiday in your hotel room - or on the camp site and someone tampers with your bike and the alarm sounds. Unless you're nearby, you won't know. Acumen's CAT1. CAT21 and CAT3 systems all have outputs which can connect to the AcuText so when the alarm sounds, AcuText can send a text to your mobile phone. It has roaming capability. NOTE! standard text fees (Orange) apply AcuText will also advise you of a low bike battery (less than 10V) and also has it's own internal motion sensor which you can adjust remotely from your mobile phone. On payment of a small fee, you can also track the bike with GSM (CELL-id) through a third-party provider. (NOTE! It doesn't matter what anyone tells you - CELL id location based services - LBS - can be quite inaccurate, up to 1Km.) Unit size is 90 x 35 x 70 mm |
